Applying to the Morrow-Stevens Scholarship

Starting December 1, 2023, the Community Foundation of New River Valley (CFNRV) will be managing the Morrow-Stevens Scholarship. The provisions of the scholarship grant and eligibility requirements remain unchanged. To begin the application process:

  1. Visit the Community Foundation of New River Valley (CFNRV) Scholarships information page
  2. Scroll down to the “How do I apply for a scholarship?” section
  3. Under "step 3", click on the list of scholarship funds link for the current year. The Morrow-Stevens Scholarship is listed as number 29.

About the Scholarship:

The Morrow-Stevens scholarship was established in 1999. The Scholarship provides a financial needs-based opportunity for Virginia residents from designated areas to attend a public Virginia university for four years. The scholarship recognizes the importance of a college education, and the significant challenges that financial hardships often pose to otherwise dedicated students. The scholarship includes tuition, fees, and campus housing.
